⚠️ Important Notes
- SIM-unlocked required: Your phone must be SIM-unlocked. Carrier-locked phones won't accept a second eSIM.
- Japan-specific: iPhone 12 and older sold in Japan may only support eSIM with a Japanese carrier. iPhone 13+ supports dual eSIM.
- China/Hong Kong: iPhones sold in mainland China do NOT support eSIM. Hong Kong iPhones do.
- Samsung region lock: Samsung phones sold in some regions (Korea, China) disable eSIM on certain carrier firmware. Check Settings → Connections → SIM Card Manager — if you see "Add eSIM," you're good.
- Quick check: Dial *#06# on your phone. If you see an "EID" number, your phone supports eSIM.
